The path to wisdom, necessarily lies through quicksand, burning coals, flying dragons and bushwackers-lol. Look what Homer went through searching for The holy grail. Or Siddhartha.

The path is frought with risks, pain and danger, which is why most people do not take that path. They feel no pain, but they feel no wonderment either.

Much easier to just read from a script everyone has agreed too believe---true or not-lol.

Remember Plato's: "Allegory of the Cave" in the The Rupublic: the fellow wondered outside the cave entrance and saw blue sky, sunshine, trees, flowers and birds and excitedly ran back in to tell the people the good news------they killed him-lol. My favorite story of all time.

Plato lived 3700 years BC.

By the way Bill Murry did a great job in the movie The Razors Edge which is on DVD. He made that movie I am sure as a labor of love.

Cheers,
