Are you insane? A soldier who goes home after two tours is "leaving his men"? So you're blaming every single soldier in Iraq of deserting his men? That would make every single combat vet in history guilty of "leaving his men?" You are either the stupidest guy I've ever met, or the mosty dishonest. Which is it?

Get a clue, jerkoff. Kerry was a true blue bona fide Silver Stasr winning combat hero and no BS from the far right chicknehawks is going to ever change that.

You people really are traitors. You care nothing about our war heros, our national security, our military readiness, our budget, environment, sanity or democracy. You're just stupid fascist liars who will say anything to defend your sick fantasy world.

You are one of the very worst. did you even go to school? What's your mental problem anyway? Do you want American to be beaten and lose all our wealth and power?

ABC Nightline confirmed the man Kerry killed to win his Silver Star was a VC regular, 23 years old, carrying a B-4 rocket which was aimed at Kerry's boat at the time. Feel free to look it up.

Interestingly, the ABC crew found out that a smearvet team had just been to this remote village asking the same questions. But they were very unhappy about what they were told by the eyewitnesses. And, since ABC needed special White House permission to travel to this restricted village, that meant the White House must have arranged for the smearvets to go there to try and find dirt on Kerry. of course they found none. Kerry is the real deal. A true hero. No BS. But the smearvets made up whatever they wanted to anyway. They have no morals. They only care about smearing whomever challenges Bush, even McCainb, Cleland, Murtha, Kerry, Clark, all Silver Star winners, whilke Bush was a spoiled rich kid coweard cocaine-snorting deserter and draft-dodger.

This from the most rightwing and most anti-Kerry newspaper in the country.

Going to keep lying about this, A-hole traitor?

Kerry completed two full tours of duty and volunteered for combat in Vietnam. He won the Silver and Bronze Stars the hard way, but saving his mens lives under enemy fire.

AWOLBUSH.com has the actual forms and intel. Kerry filled one out volunteered specifically for combat in Vietnam. Bush filled the same form specially refusing to go to Vietnam.

AWOLBUSH.com has a lot of raw intel maybe lying A-holes like you should read before you go on-line libeling our war heros and praising Bush who actually did go AWOL and then have his records for 1971 destroyed. At least they're all missing. Wonder why.

And how many deferments did cheney go out of his way to get? Five. Five times in a row he dodged the draft even though he was able bodied and had no excuses.

Kerry though volunteered for combat even though he could have easily dodged like Bush-Cheney-Delay-Rove-Limbaugh-O'Reilly and all the rest.

"what kind of discharge did he initially get?"

Based on Kerry's refusal to cooperate in the release of this information one must assume he received a Dishonorable Discharge. It would be more likely that it was a General Discharge, but if that was the case Kerry would have probably released the records by now.
