The argument here is taking a bad situation and making worse. You fail to see it. I do not blame you, your dictator brain washed well. or you are so naive to believe that the Iraqis are free today and will not be free tomorrow or next or next 30 years.

It is too funny that the US invade Iraq to free its people. What is more funny to a laughable point is that some people believe that BS.
The price of that stability was the deaths of millions of Iraqis.

Hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children, even infants, massacred and thrown into mass graves, many having been tortured to death in gruesome and ingenious ways, e.g., being throw into shredders.

The rest dead of diseases caused by deprivation.

That was "better"?

Were you there counting the millions of dead? Million sacrificed their lives for the good of the others. The Iraqis has security, health care, employment, houses, running water, electricity, food, etc. etc. etc. Today they lack basic needs. The question to you IS THIS BETTER?

Have you ever wondered from where Saddam's regime acquired the weapons to kill those people. Do you need a hint? The bill of sale has an starts and an eagle on it. give up? Yes your tax money. LOL

What is this fascination, this adulation, of the loss of personal freedom to authoritarian tyrants?

It is not a fascination at all, if you know the history you would not be say it. The US put Saddam in for a reason. He did not just became a tyrant overnight. He was hand picked for the job because he was a tyrant. You might ask why a tyrant. To protect US interest in Iraq, i.e. OIL, otherwise the oil contract would have been pulled out of multinational hands and put into Iraqis state control.
Just look what happened when the US army entered Baghdad. The first thing they did is secure the oil ministry building.

So pleeeeaaase do not tell us that the US is their to save and free the Iraqis from their tyrant, it would be more appropriate if you say FREE THE OIL FROM THE IRAQIS.
