Progressive means looking forward not backward. It's very clear. You should try it sometime. Bush-Cheney have tried to take us back to the 50's or even the Robber Baron era which preceded the Great Depression: The Cold War, another Vietnam, a divided country, dependence on fossil fuels and nukes, no energy conservation, fear and smear campaigns, a state religion, an imperial presidency and the omnipotence of corporate monopolies. All of this is a ridiculous and dastardly dream. Not only is it all a terribly bad idea it's completely unrealistic as well. Progressive will correct the course for this country and steer us forward. You may not like everything about it, but it's realistic and we need to do it fast.

"Carter’s price controls" Which just shows you the accuracy of this article. Carter didn't institute price controls, Nixon did. Carter removed them. This is just another one of those articles where the author invents a lot of stuff and throws them out like they were real.
