Kech, your attention span needed to last longer than the headline: < Chief Judge Mohammed Oreibi al-Khalifa said the court decided to stop all legal action against the former president, since "the death of defendant Saddam was confirmed". Saddam was sentenced to death for the killing of 148 Shias and hanged on December 30.>

As you can see, they have dropped the other charges.

They even, for convenience, gave the detail on his conviction and why he was hanged. It wasn't because he killed millions of women and children and threw babies out of incubators in Kuwait. I dare say you know now that the incubator eviction story was a lie, which was publicized as showing the evil of the Iraqis.

The reason there are trials is that lynch mobs notoriously do dumb things based on untruths such as the incubator story.
