I can relate completely, except I don't even bother keeping it on. Check in once in awhile to see if the paid news actors have been given other instructions (or some REAL news actually happens) then sigh and go back to doing more important things. What IS with this 24/7 coverage of a missing person or "strange vehicle" thing? Hard to imagine that there are millions of people on pins and needles waiting with bated breath
for one more tiny morsel .

I don't know how these reporters or journalists or what ever you call them can do what they do.......I suppose some people will do anything for money. As you say, the news has become really boring stuff.......it is sometimes like a bad dream.

Since the content on the Internet has grown and expanded I realize how much time I really was wasting sitting in front of the tube......which actually wasn't much. The only thing that interests me now are old movies and some action series.

Other than that.........you can have it.

I'd rather surf or ski!
