In June 2006, a poll by The Pew Charitable Trusts revealed that over 97 percent of Egyptians and Jordanians hold "unfavorable opinions of Jews."

I wonder what the % would be if Egyptians and Jordanians were asked their opinion of Jews that live in the USA, do not hold dual Israeli citizenship, have never been to Israel and hold no connection whatsoever with Israel? Something tells me the Egyptians and Jordanians could care less about that group of Jews.

In other words, your survey is probably measuring Egyptian and Jordanian views of Israel, which is close to 100% negative.

Does the piece attempt to distinguish between opposition to Israel and opposition to Jews?

Calls of anti-Semitism are themselves incendiary because they're often use to quash debate. They've now become a tactic of the rightwing along with calling someone unpatriotic because they disagree with the current administration.

People have now begun to see this kind of thing for what it is: cynical propaganda.

Of course there's anti-Semitism. There's anti-everything in a world of 6.5 billion people. The only help for this kind of thing is the cold, hard light of reality.

This is global warfare between those who have resources and those who do not. Everything else is just a sideshow.
