This is a very provincial and jingoistic sentiment, racist really.


And why do you say that? Japanese culturally are much less inclined to "separate from the norm" compared to Americans, and therefore less creative. Americans prize the individual, Japanese prize the collective. American's like to challenge authority, Japanese prefer to follow it. It's not a controversial claim, and the Japanese will generally agree with it. Individual Japanese may vary, but as a group those claims are fairly accurate and agreed upon.

Why do you think that is jingoistic?
