I guess Time will tell if the classic "Boom Bust" cycle has been repealed or not???

History is not on your side.....

......but in case you're right I'd rather jump on board the Gold Train or some other liquid hard asset rather than place a bet at this perilous stage of the game on US real estate partying forevermore into the "stairway to heaven".

Your post ominously reminds me of the "inane nonsense" slung at me when I said JDS Uniphase (JDSU) was a single digit stock back in Feb/March 2000 and the Tech Bubble was a massive mis-allocation of capital that would end badly. You're not one o those guys hiding behind an alias are you??? LOL! Of course I had said that tech was a bubble for at least the whole previous year for the most part....

Risk/reward is not favorable at his time for US Real Estate as an asset class in general in my opinion.....although if their is a nice good old fashioned "market clearence sale" in the next few years I have a good idea where I'll be looking.

I was a big buyer of real estate between 1991 and 1995 for the most part. Sold last "excess" property from the portfolio in Feb. 2005.

Sitting and waiting for now and letting see where the dust may settle. Good luck holding your property!!

Just curious as to what you project for the California residential real estate market for the next 1, 3 and 5 year periods. Personally, I'm a bit uncomfortable with the "it hasn't tanked yet" argument.
