He was doing a walk through after the passengers had debarked and this man was sitting next to an elderly man who appeared to be sleeping and had blankets over him. As my friend walked through the man said "He didn't make it." When they were still there on his return trip to the cockpit he realized what had happened. He got a ground crew ASAP to load him onto an airplane wheelchair and wrestle him down to the tarmac. Then they made the call for a doctor. In between he did grief counseling.
