The smearvets made fun of Max Cleland's three blown-off limbs. ANy combat wound a democratic war hero suffers is made a mockery of by the chickenhawks of the rightwing, though none of the rightwing's own leaders ever dard to serve in combat, even though they were the ones cheering the war back home. Just like the Bushie cowards of today who cheer escalation in Iraq but would never dream of sending their sons there. That's the truth in a nutshell isn't it? Democratic war hero = traitor. Rightwing draft-dodger or fat assed coward = heroic patriot. BTW , why don't you attack Bob Dole for getting a Purple Heart for his minor shrapnel wound on his arm? I'm waiting for your tirade against Dole. Come on now. He was a "coward and traitor and faked his wounds" right? They all do. All war heros are traiots and only draft-dodging rich kid liars who use dadddy's name to stay out of harm's way are "heros".
