Smearvets type slander should be criminalized. We have laws against false TV advertising by commercial manufacturers, but rightwing neo-fascist liars can put up any ad Tom Delay's or Karl Rove's people will pay for and run it even though it has nothing to do with reality whatsoever. And they even sell books chockful of total fabrications and make millions from that. These are all racist, bigoted far rightwing hate-mongering nut cases who refuse to be held accountable on any level. All they know is they hate moderates and progressives so badly they will say or do anything. So if you are a democrat, or even a moderate Repub, and you are a war hero, expect the rightwing smearvet crap-spewers to come after you inventing lies about how you are a traitor and a coward who faked your wounds and helped the enemy. Meanwhile, not a single major Bushie leader ever dared to step foot on a battlefield, not has they let any of their sons go, despite their current escalation of an already losty cause war, due to their gross dishonesty and mismanagement of it.
