yeah right, Republicans called the proposal, which would let the United Nations define what is permitted under the initiative, "unrealistic and dangerous."
"It will result in the imposition of unpredictable limitations, conditions and interpretations, and result in a regulatory straightjacket overseen by an international bureaucracy," said Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Florida Republican and ranking member on the House International Relations Committee.

they are letting the UN make the calls, lolololol when has the UN every done anything. what a joke

They started with the port security bill yesterday. Not a bad first move.

I missed that. The radio was all over their minimum wage bill.

I don't remember, but it's understandable. The lists I've seen have been things that the Dems plan to do right off the bat, and it's going to take quite a while to get us out of Iraq.

Sheehan and the get out now crowd are already going after dems. Maybe it won't split them too bad before 2008.
:)

Looking at the list of 911 commission recommendations the dems will implement, I wonder if the NYTimes can keep their mouth shut how they are going to be implemented?

Did you see ted's moveon.org list? Nothing about the war in Iraq.

That was one of a couple of posts that I made from moveon.org. Another one from moveon was signing a petition to send to Congress telling them we are against 'the surge'.

Meanwhile Pelosi has said we have to understand the score before agreeing to any more troops. Ted Kennedy is calling Iraq Bush's Vietnam. As its stands now, Bush won't get the financial support for an Iraqi 'surge'. So what is Harris concerned about......that the Dems might do a good job? ;-)
