Given the assets that have been and are being deployed, we are going to try to contain Iran's response to an Israeli raid. If I don't miss my guess, the "surge" is to beef up the border with Iran, not increase patrols in Baghdad. In fact, I suspect that there will be a lot of repositioning inside Iraq to close the borders with Iran and Syria. The surge has already started.
