longnshort, I hope your post was with tongue in cheek. What has a whale, or dolphin, ever done to you? If approached properly, they are docile mammals that quite often try to communicate with humans, but the humans are too ignorant to understand them.

You must be careful when hunting marine mammals with firearms. Bullets experience rapid deceleration up contact with water. If the marine animal is not on the surface you are unlikely to get stopping power even with a 50 caliber round. </sarcasm>
