I've never been to Denmark, but in law school I remember am absolutely gruesome conversation with a very funny Dane about killing chickens on his grandma's farm. It was very frank :-) You did not get my hackles up; you just confused me. You have to realize I'm a Californian, and have always been one, so we're really liberal to begin with, and I come from a family with lots of health professionals in it. I remember one Christmas a visiting ER doc regaled us at the dinner table with an amusing list of all the foreign objects he had removed from people's ...sexual...regions. I think I was 13 or 14 at the time. I still remember the laughter that erupted at the mention of the Barbie doll.
