That's for true! No wonder our society is in the state it's in. People are watching shows like that.

I wanna tell these people, you have a brain, use it. Don't rely on other people to tell you how to think, how to live, what's acceptable and what's not. Especially those talk show people. You think you're screwed up? Think again!

Re football:

The reruns are more entertaining than the 'actual' play. :)

Re The View:

Long ago while we still had the care of my mother I would occasionally turn on The View for her. This was way before Rosie Posie. My mother could hear the noise and perhaps see through her peripheral vision. Mother could not get up to navigate away and could not speak, neither could she think. She just was.

Perhaps many of the people who watch that show now are in similar condition except that they have the power to turn it on.

I used to exercise to parts of it in order to be 'with her'. I had no idea what it was. As I gathered 'an idea' I turned it off. Game shows were better for her anyway. Happy sounds came from game shows.
