WATAIRE IND INC (U-WTAF) - News Release
Wataire Industries Research and Development Update

2007-02-26 09:00 ET - News Release

TORONTO -- (Business Wire)

Wataire Industries Inc. (Pink Sheets:WTAF) is pleased to announce the following updates for the Counter Top Water Generator developed by the company.

President, Max Weissengruber stated that “The Research and Development department is in the final testing stages for the new countertop water generating appliance. Recent independent water quality testing has reported results with very low bacteria counts that are 93.6% less than limits set by the World Health Organization, a key advantage our technology has over our competitors.”

Max Weissengruber also stated ”These results are very encouraging and further validation of our patent pending. Also, with dimensions for the Countertop Unit reduced to only 17”X17”X18” inches in size, the prototype is garnering remarkable interest globally as an affordable and effective drinking water product.”

Terrance Nylander, Head of Research and Development recently stated “Although time consuming, our intensive development process has proven to be very valuable to the company enabling us to strengthen our patent with very unique advancements that should place us even further ahead of those trying to enter this field. We are also implementing many new ideas into the product design while we continue the final cycle and reliability testing of the circuitry.”

Wataire Industries Inc. has begun sourcing the components for the countertop unit and plans to immediately construct the final beta test units in the company’s facility in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Max Weissengruber concluded that “The world in general seems to have moved away from tap water as the main drinking water source and consumers are searching for safe and affordable alternatives. This growing consumer trend has created a tremendous opportunity for new systems such as the Wataire Countertop Atmospheric Water Generator.”
