I'm not sure that you understand the concept of 'news worthy'.

Of course I do... during WW II, if that newspaper had information from a solid source that the D Day landing would take place at a given time and place, should they have run that story and alerted the germans because it was "news worthy?" There's a huge difference between being newsworthy and giving away sensitive information obtained by the "fruits of the forbidden tree"... newsworthy is if the cancer rate increased or decreased by 35% over the past two years, or something like that coming from a study or some research, but not a leaked secret, that's just complete stupidity...
