I was trading the SP primarily from the short side the past few days but went long early today. I don't know if this analysis actually works or not. Basically the theory is that the bottom either has hit or will hit no later than tomorrow. If the theory works, and the market continues down nonetheless, the logic is that the long term daily trend is broken. The supposition is that this is a corrective overlapping bear trend in a non-overlapping bull trend. Refer to Doublespeak for Dummies, Volume IV
