Nobody reads books anymore.

I would agree it's one of our current educational problems of today. No books, no imagination, just chasing instant gratification. I use tech manuals when a new piece of equipment comes out I'm responsible for. Too many times I've seen people ask "can you 'show' me?" Well, who showed me?

I'd have to take some time to think of any movie better than it's book.

My kid falls asleep to the Hobbit each night.
One more night to go. Tonight, drugged up a bit
with a terrible head cold, I had to explain that
I wouldn't normally cry...

If more of us valued food and cheer and song
above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.
But, sad or merry, I must leave it now. Farewell.
