Yes he was, but nobody cares if he was in combat for 5 minutes, 3 months, 6 months or 20 years, it's totally irrelevant to anything. That was almost 40 years ago, Bushie boy. What's relevant is that the 2004 Bush campaign was run on a mountain of lies and Kerry should have been president, and most Americans now wish he was. Millions of people who voted for Bush in 2004 feel completely hoodwinked and cheated. In fact, they were. But that was then and this is now.

Kerry was an amazing war hero (especially for a Yalie in the 60's) and earned every medal the hard way. But these days we have much bigger issues to worry about. Expect a major speech on Iraq from Kerry any day and I'll bet 80% of the American people will agree with him wholeheartedly. About 20% will stick will Bush and go off a cliff for him. You're one of them.

Bush really is a dishonest man. His thinking and policies are completely unsound and his scare tactics in his speech tonight were phony. Even if he's right about some of them, his own mistakes and lies are responsible for the problems, not Al Qaida and not Saddam. Certainly not Kerry and the democrats. They were right, Bush was wrong. You can't change that no matter how much you try to lie. If Kerry were president we'd be out of Iraq, the Middle East would be much less tense, Osama would be dead and we'd be four years ahead of schedule on getting off Arab oil permanently.
