Me too....I think the reason I was so shaken was the thought that my car might slide into any of the people walking, or the cars that were stuck too....Also the fear of the people going down the hill that were slipping and sliding too... A friend whose daughter is young lawyer was to pick up her 3 year old daughter on the way home from work. She left work early at 4:30. Her mom called me at 6pm, because her daughter was still stuck in Seattle on the floating bridge and couldn't get to the place where her daughter was....I couldn't get out either.... Turns out, the daughter picked up her daughter and was back on the road at 7:30...I talked to the mom at 9:45 and her daughter and granddaughter had just gotten home!!!From downtown Seattle to where the daughter lives is a one-half hour trip. 40 minutes max.
