Elroy, you know that there is an alternative to invading and bombing a country. It is called negotiation in good faith.

I'm skeptical Saddam could have been negotiated in good faith from power.

You can't go blaming the rest of world for a mistake that the US administration made.

I'm not. I'm just pointing out that most of them are just observers in the unfolding history of Iraq, not active participants, and their criticisms are just that. It's easy to bitch about how others are doing poorly in some project while you sit in your living room watching on TV. If you want to help, get up and get involved. The "rest of the world" has had that opportunity, and passed.
