The problem I always had living there was with the bozos who, when going up a snowy/icy hill, think slower is better. No! Keep up the momentum.

I lived on the E. Sammamish Plateau, and there were always folks who got stuck half-way up Issaquah-Pine Lake Rd. If you are behind someone like that and don't have 4WD or chains, you lose momentum and get stuck too.

At the time, I had a little Honda Station Wagon with 4WD (great little car), and that little puppy powered right past the folks that were stuck.

Nowadays, I have a big hulking Suburban. Nothing stops me.
