- is let's look at the scientific date seriously and honestly and then apply both science and politics in a prudent manner. Not sure it all make sense. Science can be trusted to some degree. But politicians cannot. -All we are asking for is an honest and intelligent approach to the possibility of global warming. That I agree. The problem is who should lead this effort. I would be happy to see Gore forming and leading a global independent committee with the only goal of providing a scientific solution to this potential problem, if really needed. He would attract worldwide experts and private money and then maybe convince all governments of the right course of action. But as a US president, he would achieve nothing as his goal would be 1) to please Americans whose immediate needs are far different than solving global warming and 2) to get re-elected.

All have someone behind trying to push them (scientists) this way or that All we need is another Greenpeace!! I remember the headlines IN 20 YEARS the world will not be able to sustain the population...well we have 2x the # of mortals now and there seems to be lots of food. Jeez we can even use it to run our cars. Go figure its all voodoo science to me
