Yes, it started the NY with the wrong foot, but there was no DG since the L on Dec 29 was 6.75 & the H on Jan 3 was 6.80 (It was only a time gap <g> ) with continuation of the nearterm DT that started on Dec 15 from its Dec 14 H at the 7.43 level (that DT was confirmed on Dec 18 & the failed attempted rally on Dec. 19 & Dec 29)

The question now is wether the apparent support at the $6.50 level will hold in spite of the lower oil prices.<g>

The stock is now trading with a PE of 7, which is similar to its P/CF & its earnings supposedly aren't going to be affected as much from the drop on the oil price since the drilling contracts remain in effect & drilling activity isn't going to be curtailed.

Of course, I think somebody told me many years ago that it is not good to fight the tape & that if a stock isn't acting well, "DON'T TOUCH IT" <g>
