G.W. Bush will NEVER be joining the likes of Churchill and Lincoln !!! For one thing, Bush lacks the charisma of Churchill. For another, Bush's "upper storey" is nothing like that of Churchill or of Lincoln; Churchill was an orator, a charismatic leader as well as a consummate politician. In addition, he was an accomplished artist and an author. As you probably already know a lot about Lincoln I will not waste time and space commenting about him except to say that he was highly respected even before his death and he has become immortal in history for his abolition of slavery. By contrast, Bush has been called many unflattering names like "chimp", "buffoon", "Dumbyass", "MAD", and he has been caricatured many times as a dumb and clumsy fellow and like a gay getting it real good from Osama! BTW, don't forget he was a poor student; many suspect that he passed only because of his family connections. Soon after graduation from business school, Bush embarked on the oil business. He was so incompetent he went bankrupt and had to be baled out by his daddy's friends. Oh yes, before I forget, Bush never served in Vietnam and though he knows nothing about what it is like fighting at the front line, he now thinks nothing of sending Americans to the war front and to certain death. By the way, Bush reportedly went AWOL and never finished his miliatry service. What claim to fame has Bush got so far? None, by my reckoning. His re-election in 2004, to say nothing of his first election, was highly suspect, to say the least. To be sure, big oil and the big arms industry, and AIPAC (American-Israel Public Affairs Committee) and a subservient media (that eternally parroted his lies and deceptions) got him elected both times. Worse: he has not notched any significant victory since 9/11 nor since the invasion of Iraq (March 21st 2003). Also, without the help of speech writers and teleprompters, Bush would not have been able to deliver "his" speeches. Recall that Bush was wearing a hearing device in his ear to receive cues when he was debating with John Kerry in October 2004. LOL! And when Bush was talking on his own, he often "er"ed and harrumphed a lot! or shrugged. Very bad and sad for a president! LOL! IMO, Bush is labouring under a delusion --- the delusion that G_d has made him president. As a consequence all his decisions have been faith-based. But, as all sane and rational people know, faith, with its pie-in-the-sky awards, is a very dicy (it can even be a very dangerous) thing and usually it amounts to nothing more than an opiate for the gullible and the öne-screw-loose-in-the-head types. Yea, as many folks have said, faith does work and will even move mountains. But they also said that that is only possible provided one is genuinely spiritual and holy. Unfortunately, Bush, despite his claim that he is a born-again Christian, he is neither holy nor spiritual. No wonder he has not been helped, eh? By contrast, those who yell or intone "Allah-u-Akhbar" (meaning G_d is Great) seems to be having better luck, or so it would seem. .
