More than likely it's the buzz about the I-Phone highlighting the benefits of 3G over the gsm/wedgie. No question who is "the tolltaker(gatekeeper?)for 3G". Who used to use that as their signature block?? One of you oldtimers.

Guys - its all about negotiating leverage. If BRCM can win its claim against QCOM then they will have one more chip to bargain with as it relates to the real end game...i.e. a CDMA / W-CDMA license.
