I searched on "shrapnel" and the first time JLA ever uses the word on SI is in a news story in 2006.

I fail to see any connection between your accusations and reality.

Like him or not, jlallen is the most bluntly honest and frequently disagreeable person I have ever come across on SI. I have reviewed his posts for years and have never seen him attempt to portray himself or his position on issues in a deceptive manner.

You don't have to agree with him but you never have to wonder where he stands on any issue or who he thinks he is in the grand scheme of things. At least thats the way I remember it.

So that means what? He can't post on SI? People who have never been in the military, much less combat, post on SI.
