I don't know that there is a best way to extricate ourselves from this mess. It's probably going to be very ugly, no matter how we do it. As we both know, the problem was with doing Iraq at all. Everyday we stayed there, and everyday we stay there, the repercussions get worse. Its just an ugly, God awful situation. Can't paint a good picture on any of our options. The lesson is, of course, be very careful upfront with this war shit. It's real easy to get in and almost impossible to get out. There is going to be tragedy after tragedy after the Bush war.
