Pay can be determined in 2 ways - either by the market, or by "somebody". I believe in the markets - more than in the wisdom of governments or committees. No disagreement here with you - or Rick B. in the next post - but WE do not determine their pay - the market does. Yes, most big ballplayers and big actors (imo) are overpaid -- but so are many players on Wall Street, where many get paid their heavy bonuses just for kinda being in the right place at the right time. Looks like our economic system likes to create such micro-bubbles. I've got to figure out where the next one will take place and get there....
