I got a question about who this df guy is--
Just one of my co-workers who follows biotech
casually too--picks a basket of stocks each year.

Just a couple weeks into the year, his stocks
are doing pretty nicely, especially compared to
mine:

df +14% ytd, mm +1%

df +14% ytd, mm -2%

Adding Targeted Genetics to my portfolio (-27%)
might not have been a great idea. Interestingly,
the stock we each shared before I replaced it with
tgen was glgc--and that is df's worst performing
stock!

Three weeks into the year is a little early to
conceed, but it is entertaining to see just how
badly a handful of darts can fly sometimes.
