With all due respect to Obama, that's really not a very specific statement.

What does he mean by, "do what's necessary to force a political settlement in Iraq"? Could he "elaborate" on that?

Obama may be the most brilliant mind in the political world right now, but I haven't seen anything but generalizations from him so far.

Did he get into policy specifics in his book?

Has anybody posted on this thread the "reasons" he gave at the time for being against the Iraq Invasion? Was he specific on that?
