This will not likely happen as each believes they are right just as the Democrats believe the Republicans are wrong and vice versa.

This is a American problem and not a problem of the Democrats or the Republicans. The Rovian approach to this war is history. It was Rove who said that the Democrats want to negotiate with the terrorists whereas the Republicans wanted to kill them. It was Rove who had the brilliance to misrepresent the fact that the American and not the Democrats wanted a political solution and not just military all the time. Those who are opposing Bush today continue to do so realizing that if Bush fails with his latest approach, then America will have expended all its political capital, even the little it has today.

As long as Bush continues to hold innocent Iraqis hostage in h is war against terrorism, this war cannot be won by Bush. Bush started the war, but it is the Americans who will have to bring this war to an outcome it desires.

In writing the structure of paragraphs and sentences make a difference in understanding. I am placing the last sentence where it belongs with the second paragraph as this sentence refers to the second paragraph and not to the first paragraph.

I support both a military, political solution, and humanistic solution by people in the old sense of humanism (not the modern sense that has skewed humanism.)

One of elements that needs to be a part of this solution is for the religious leaders of the various religions to sit with each other and agree to not a common belief but a recognition and acceptance of the right of each to exist without impinging upon the other via violence and war. This will not likely happen as each believes they are right just as the Democrats believe the Republicans are wrong and vice versa.
