My guess is that it's because of earlier puberty, therefore earlier brain growth completion. But 2.4 IQ points is not far above noise and personality traits [such as being more civil, less competitive] would drown that in any normal environment. It's not really sexist to say there are differences between the sexes. Denying, for example, that men have a Y chromosome and women don't, is not really sexist. Nor that men have more testosterone [on average]. Etc. There are many factual sex differences. Neither is it sexist to point out the intellectual differences, such as earlier puberty, which has a very practical educational effect = females had better, usually, get their education younger or they'll miss out. But so had early maturing boys. Learning things AFTER puberty, such as language, is always more difficult. Watch a 2 year old learn language and it's amazing. Watch a 23 year old, and they struggle for years to get an accent-free speech, which they can't do [I don't think I've come across such a person]. There will be foreign affairs effects with women running the USA, which seems increasingly likely [the natural state of politics is for women to run it when wars and exploration are irrelevant]. I think women will be less inclined to invasions, though I hear women can be quite bitchy to each other, forming dominance hierarchies quite enthusiastically. Women ruling USA and unmarried little emperors running China. That should be fun. Mqurice
