I don't think I hear the the Fat Lady singing yet.

Patients -- they say the bodies of dead heros littler the battle fields because they gave up on the night of their victory.

This is Bush's war, Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld with the Wolfowitz and Fife types whispering in their ears. This is not the Pertagon's fault. Dozens of generals have stood up against this war. The active duty ones were fired or transfered, punished for speaking the truth.

AFter 9-11, we suspended our disbelief and trusted Bush to lead the way. Instead he misled so badly that it's likely the entire effort since 9-11 and the huge cost of it all will be a total waste. In fact, we might even up worse off than we were before. I see no evidence to support any optimistic hopes, and ther est of the world is not on our side anymore because Bush snuibbed them and lied to them.

Who else is to blame for this? The highly partisan and deeply dishonest rightwind media, Fox News in particular pretending i5t was "fair and balanced", the corrupt Delay congress, Karl Rove using 9-11 and Iraq as political weapons to steal elections, but in the end it comes back to Bush. He calls himself "the decider" but he has made some of the worst and most corrupt decisions any US president has ever made. In fact in six years he has made very few good decisions.

So what do we do now? Well we cannot trust Bush. So we need to remove him from power as is the Peoples' right through congress. But first Cheney has to go. That should beaccomplished fairly easily with an investigation of his corruption surrounding pre-war intelligence lies and Halliburton contracts.
