Hello;

Vanguard has several funds, labeled "Tax-Managed", that try to minimize Capital Gains by not trading much, and off-setting gains with losses. This might be the way to go. However, I do not know your entire financial standing, so specific recommendations would be difficult to make.

Remember, owning investments solely to limit tax issues is not the prudest way to go. But if this is a specific need, and you are covered elsewhere with other investments, then these funds may work well for you.

One other idea. Many of the "Index" funds have limited capital gain distributions, as they only make changes when the underlying index changes. So there may be some answers for you there also.

Good luck.
