Its not that close. And even if it was it would directly contradict your claim that it was beyond "any previously known dimensions".


First, its not my claim, its the claim of the editor of Der Speigel.

Secondly, his claim is about public, private and corporate debt combined. The chart I showed you only graphs out federal debt. Combined with private and corporate debt, it could well be "beyond any previously known dimensions".

Instead of complaining, prove his statement wrong.
