You haven't encountered it with me so why are you bringing it up? If you look back you'll see that longshort posted it in reply to Mindmeld. Whehter or not you argued that the middle class was disapearing is irrelevant. Then you replyed that you debunked it, when you didn't even address its arguement. OK, you didn't say "I debunked it", you said "Too bad.......Reynolds and Henderson have been debunked:" but the link you put in that post links to a post you made, and not one that debunks much of anything, certainly not Reynolds central argument. I have factually proven to you that the difference in the rate of income change is significant between the upper and lower No you haven't, and I linked to post showing why. Message 23172192 and Message 23172182 Now those posts don't show that the rich haven't gotten richer faster then the middle class, but they show that the data you use isn't enough to prove the case either way. Making more money benefits the recipient........and helps anyone else only tangentially. Its might not help others as much or as directly, but skilled work and good investments (assuming the investment is good because it produces a net positive real return, not some sort of fradulant scheme) help the economy as a whole. Reduce or discourage such things and you hurt more than just the wealthy. "Yes, but apparently they aren't staring you in the face, you choose to turn away and ignore them." Once again, you are not making sense. You chose to ignore the facts in the two links I gave you earlier and posted again in this post.
