It won't work. It's only for nearsightedness. If you call a Laser surgery company and tell them you're farsighted, they won't return your call.

In theory, a variable focal point lens is possible. I know they do exist in a primitive form where focal length is a function of vertical lens height. All one does is tilt one's head up depending on the nearness of the target.
