Bush is pimping for Big Pharma's windfall profiteering off the American taxpayer. The VA is allowed to negotiate for the best prices for drugs, but Bush's Medicare plan isn't. As a result, of the 20 most perscribed drugs, Bush's plan pays an AVERAGE of 52% more than the VA does, and they pay 1000% more for Zoloft for some reason. A 1000% more. Meanwhile, go to Canada and you can instanrtly save 50%.

SO what's the Bushie Pharma lobbyist excuse? That they "need money for research". BS. Half the drugs they're bringing out are for things like erectile dysfunction and the other half of the research is already paid for by we the taxpayers.

There is simply no excuse forn this except that Bush was bought and paid for back in 2001 by Bill Frist's pals, the big HMO's and drug companies. Since Bush got into power health care prices have risen over 50%. No accident. And energy is even worse. These price gougings more nthan offset any tax relief Bush has offered the middleclass. In fact along with Bush cutting college tuition help, it's costs $6000 more per year for the average US family. I believe Bush's tax relief is about $1000. See the bait and switch pick-pocketing here?
