In the short term, they cannot be allowed to have nukes, and their present regime is intent on getting them.

This is the conundrum. How to do it without exploding the Persian Gulf. Barnett thinks we can't stop them and must figure out how to handle the fact that they will get them.

We know after Iraq that we cannot/will not invade and occupy. So how much and what kind of "raid" should we do? Starting with the fact that they will probably hit back as hard as they can.
