"annual uranium requirements of more than 175 million pounds, "

"estimated 2006 production to 109 million pounds "

So production must increase by 60% to meet ongoing demand for current reactors, and maybe some under construction.

As we all know, that is a huge shortfall, and additional production will appear only slowly, if previous rates of increase are any indication.

$100 a pound seems a conservative price estimate under these conditions.

Which companies will make the most money, and how quickly, from $100/lb. uranium?
