There was a TV movie on that theme some years ago. I forget the plot, but I think the point of the movie was that it would not work to put criminals on an island and let them determine their own fate. Which means that it might be a good idea since Hollywood doesn't like it.

I'm not looking to take away their rights. Last time I checked we can send them to just about any prison we see fit. Seriously though - the sexual predator issue is getting really bad. That type of crime I think is almost worse than killing someone. Women walk around for the rest of their life with fear and issues from a crime like that. Not even putting the criminal to death can fix the issue. We buck have to take care of our doe's. Rut just wouldn't be the same without them - you know...kind of the same way you and I look out for each other - you massive hunk of man you <g>
