"...sat back and watched as he's run up the federal deficit; led us into a horrific, no win war in Iraq..."

The fact that fighting for freedom and safety costs money (AND LIVES) is hardly a valid argument not to value these things.

As to the war...it was over and done and WON in an incredibly short time. The army surrendered and the Government was replaced. That war is WON. That war is OVER.

As to the humanitarian effort to prevent the religious fanatics from throwing the entire Middle East into chaos for decades to come--well....THAT commitment to humanity and to western longterm interests is a commitment worthy of civilized nations--the U.S. being foremost among them and recognized as such by her allies.

Nations of the world are interfering in myriad locations on our fine planet to prevent bloodshed and genocide--and the victory of sheer force over human rights. We don't bastardize these attempts and attainments--RIGHT??

Take a good look at what you get from your attack against your own country and the elected representatives of your interests and your freedoms. Some get their meaning from spitting on the sidewalk--some get their meaning from wiping it up. Some of us are not too proud to continue to wipe it up. And if bitching and demonizing gives you a little testosterone--then bitch away.

As to the global warming/freezing issue. This is a cycle which has existed forever or damn near. The ozone layer is created by sunlight, and so long as the sun exists the ozone layer will be repaired. Global warming per se is not a concern to educated people. It is inevitable. The concern is that we may be able to ameliorate the RATE of change and that we may well be advised to...a concern but no deal breaker. Most of these horrific lamentations by the Leftist leaders are attempts to get free points for j-rk--- off.

Back to Iraq. We could leave these savages alone. But where, then, are your tears and enmity for the dozens of other nations intervening around our globe to disarm many many mad bastards scattered to the four corners?

For years women were murdered by the Taliban and we did nothing. Are they unhappy that one country FINALLY moved in and said, "ENOUGH"??

The soldiers dying to preserve civilized human values are aware of the risk and are doing it VOLUNTARILY because they believe in something. You have no right to spit on their sacrifice. Do you believe in anything? What? Do you believe it is wrong to defend the helpless from murder? Will you put your life on the line for it? Because I am not too proud to wipe up your spit...

[J]ust remember this the next time you hear a Democrat
promise to take America in a “new direction”…

More From the “You Won’t See this on MSM” Files

By Texas Rainmaker on Economy

Will Katie Couric or Chris Matthews lead with this anytime soon?

<<< Despite the ongoing costs of US military campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan, the outlook for the federal budget has grown substantially brighter.

Tax revenues are rising much faster than spending,
according to Treasury Department numbers released last week. The recent trend is strong enough that, were it to continue, the budget could move into surplus in barely a year, one economist calculates.

Already, the federal deficit is shrinking toward about half the size that it has averaged since 1970, when analyzed as a percentage of gross domestic product.

The shift reflects a strong economy
, with higher incomes and corporate profits generating a bigger flow of tax revenue. In turn, the Treasury’s progress could help the economy by buoying investor confidence in the nation’s fiscal position. >>>

And just remember this the next time you hear a Democrat promise to take America in a “new direction”…
