Buddy, Yes, there is much that needs doing in this world, but we can't carry the whole load. There is no doubt that we are concentrating on the Middle East because of the oil available there, but how long is that going to last? Almost all of the gusher sites in mainland USA, looked like they would keep pumping forever, but we now know that didn't happen. There was just so much plant growth that was buried so many thousands of years ago, that became oil, and it can't last forever.

I didn't think I would ever say this, but we need an alternate fuel to run our vehicles, and we need it fast.

Are we really helping Iran? They hate us and are now threatening us with nuclear weapons, so it is time to cut the ties with them. We should only help those that appreciate our efforts on their behalf.

I still think that, if a nation in the Middle East wants to fight with us, we should bomb them until the sand turns into glass. I see no sense to lose ground troops to such people.
