Why are so many lawyers not in agreement with this? Or have we pushed it enough? I agree with you, BTW. If it is not the province of the US courts, where do the lawyers make their money? Where do they get to make publicity points? Where do the money for the appeals come from. Dead dudes are not good for a cash crop you know. Dead Terrorists, lying in a heap make for a particularly unappealing bunch, all that oil money slithering down the drain. And if they did what I suggest, where do the Democrats make their points? If they are within the Geneva conventions, and the US is as far as I have read, only non compliant in that they haven't killed the miscreants yet, where does pelosi get her ammunition to make George Bush look mean? The lunatic Fringe can hardly go before the lunatic public, none of whom have any clue what the Geneva Conventions say, and say to them, George Bush is violating these prisoners rights by not killing the sob's.
