AS, so sorry to see Kerry drop out of the Presidential race. He probably saw the writing on the wall. :-((

I think Kerry had a good chance to win the 2004 election (in spite of the widespread cheating in Ohio and elsewhere) but his indecisiveness and lack of courage - which in itself was a sad spectacle, considering that here was a warhero pitted against total cowardly bullies like the Dumbyass and FU Cheney - cost him the race.

So, it is now on to 2008. I hope we get a better bunch of candidates to choose from rather than Sens. Clinton, Edwards, Biden and Obama. I wish one of them had made the statements that come from Hagel these days. Instead, they are wrapping themselves in contradictions and seem to be too afraid to say anything decisive about Iraq!

Ultimately, I think any candidate that does NOT say "GTFO of Iraq" has no chance in 2008. And Hagel is a lot closer to saying that than any of the insipid Democratic Senators running for the 2008 nomination.

Re: "Afghanistan was the only justified place to go."

I heartily disagree with this opinion. It's shortsighted, in fact.

Re: "Most of the dangers inside Iran now were caused by Bush."

I heartily disagree with this opinion. It's boldly silly, in fact.

What more can be said?

Bush, as you say, and the U.S., aren't lusting for war. Islamic Extremists do that.
