Agree...I think going north is too hazardous right now. Black ice is out there on the secondary streets. I'm having some of those thoughts today myself....One part of me wants to go for a ride, and see the sights. The other part of me says, stay home. There's plenty to do here. That may be the problem....I don't want to do everything that needs to be done. <ggg> Did get some windows cleaned yesterday though. Maybe a few more today...inside only. Our garbage guys didn't ever come this week because of the icy roads...so trash cans for everyone are still out. The crows must think our "stuff" is better, because I notice that there are two of them, actively working the cans. It's funny to see them, one at a time, put their body in between the 3" opening, and only tail feathers stick outside the lid....Everything is frozen solid, so they are having a hard time. You'd think their feet would freeze to the snow they are trying to sit on. We only have 2-3 inches in back because of all the trees, with still 5 or so in front..Nothing is melting, just compacting.
